Biography
Mario Busto Calderón is a young spanish composer who focuses his work on music for audiovisuals, both for film, television, videogames, as well as for the other types of audiovisual platforms.
Starting his musical career independently, he has been studying with various professors related to the world of music for audiovisuals. Among them, the renowned composer Eva Gancedo, winner of a Goya for best original soundtrack, Jaime Gutiérrez, member of the orchestration team of Fernando Velázquez, the renowned conductor Borja Quintas, invited to conduct some of the best orchestras such as the Symphony Orchestra or the New Russia Symphony Orchestra, and Mario Gosálvez, composer of "The great adventure of Mortadelo y Filemón", among many others. Graduated from the Master in Composition for Audiovisual Media at the KAtarina Gurska Center in Madrid (2020).
Having composed for various audiovisual works, he collaborates mainly as an associate composer in the young valencian film producer Butoni Films. Composer, arranger and instrumentalist of the musical project Golden Cinnamon, which aims to combine cinematographic orchestral music with popular indie music.
His works are oriented to all kinds of styles, genres and productions, basing and characterizing his way of composing music, in mixing sounds and harmonies typical of the most classical orchestration together with the enveloping and synthetic sound settings of the most current productions.
